INTRODUCTION

Gin Rummy is a timeless game that requires skill and strategic thinking. The objective is to organize your hand by forming sets and runs, while minimizing the number of "deadwood" cards. The game continues until a player reaches the target score, usually 100 points, in a thrilling race to outwit your opponent and claim victory.


GUIDELINES

  1. Objective: Reduce the number of "deadwood" cards by creating sets and runs.
  • Sets: A group of cards having the same rank (e.g., three 7s).
  • Runs: Sequential cards of the same suit (e.g., 4, 5, 6 of Hearts).
  1. Scoring:
  • The points from your opponent's remaining deadwood cards are added to your score.
  • To maximize points, knock or achieve "go gin" (no deadwood).
  1. Winning:
  • Be the first player to reach or surpass 100 points to win the game.
  • Prevent your opponent from reaching 100 points before you do!
